Lokmanya Gramin Vikas Sanstha’s lokmanya Mahavidyalaya Sonkhed was started in 1999 to
cater the needs of the students educationally backward rural area of Maharashtra. The motto of the
college is to empower the learner with employability to face the challenges of life. Present UG college is
offering degree education in Arts. Apart from these it offers B.A. course of Yashwantrao Chavan
Marathwada Open University Nashik and M.A. Distance course in Marathi, English, Hindi, Economics,
Political Science, History and Sociology of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded in
this campus.
